In the last 10 years tissue paper consumption has strongly grown in the region spanning from Russia to Turkey to the Middle East, showing a growth rate per year in most cases in the 8-9% range.

In the same timeframe Turkey has developed into a major global tissue player with exports reaching as far as the United States as the domestic market was increasingly unable to absorb all the added capacity. More, considerable new investments are now in the pipeline in the whole macro-region.
